~ Sarah & Stuart’s Birth Story ~ I had actual tears and goosebumps reading Sarah’s birth story! I thank them for giving me permission to share. Sarah’s words about the importance for a labouring woman to feel loved and supported really resonate with me, with or without hypnobirthing I truly believe it’s important for every woman to feel safe, secure and supported when giving birth to her baby. On this day 7years I had my last day in Midwifery Group Practice before I went on maternity leave to have my first baby. This was a job - if I could even call it that, that I am passionate about and it was a role I felt the most true to being a midwife, providing continuity of care and supporting women and their families through pregnancy, labour, births and early parenting and this Saturday I am excited to be going back to doing what I love as a midwife and returning to Midwifery Group Practice. I have been meaning to announce this for ages but a fb reminder came up today of my last day which is kind of freaky but I am taking it as a sign that the time is right to share with everyone. I will be working week on/week off on call so this means I am still able to run my classes, groups will just not be as often and I will still offer private sessions. So I am getting the best of both worlds and still get to share my love for teaching as a childbirth educator. So this is why my Group Workshops will now be held every 3months and my next one being in May. I will still be taking on private client too and I am booked out until May at the moment so if you are keen to start your positive birth journey with me don’t leave it too late. Remember private class options include the full course, half group/half private, half online/half private which is proving to be popular option and other options available.
